What started as an informal, invite-only event hosted by Jeff Bezos evolved into 2019’s first annual re:MARS conference. Amazon turned to Opus to scale this high-touch event from 200 attendees to more than 2,200 (nearly 40% of whom are executive- or founder-level) while preserving the original vision and intimate atmosphere.
Opus created spaces for attendees to share in and explore four pillars of artificial intelligence-related content: machine learning, automation, robotics, and space (which together spell out MARS). Amazon amped up the reach of their message by adding product launches to the keynote and facilitating 100+ breakout sessions. To keep things fun, we closed out the show with a robotics showcase (featuring the return of the ever-popular BattleBots) and a swath of highly coveted swag prizes.
