Announcing our May 2015 SUPO!
At Opus, we call our employee of the month award the “SUPO.” It’s kind of a long story, but essentially: It’s “OPUS” spelled backwards, and it sounds a little like “super.” And this month’s SUPO is…
May’s SUPO simply makes the Account Management team better. Her warm smile, eagerness to help, and “inspector-like attributes” have brought incredible success to her first year at Opus.
She will research, ask questions, and follow through to get to the bottom of every project she’s involved in. Her attention to detail and understanding of what is needed to get a project initiated and completed is what makes her stand out. Is it possible to clone her?
Here are a few examples of what her peers have to say:
- “She joined the Account Management team as an Account Coordinator a year ago, and I’m not sure what we did without her. She quickly learned ‘the Opus way,’ and has become a master at launching projects, building budgets, and knowing what needs to be included with each launch that goes out the door. She is often given bits of information, and she takes what she knows, does her research, and figures out the rest.”
- “In the last year she has learned the ins and outs of multiple clients’ accounting systems and working with the Opus team to ensure each project gets off on the right foot. The Account Management team needs three more of her—has anyone figured out how to clone yet? She is a true team player and always eager to help, and I am so thankful for her contribution to Opus over the past year.”
- “She is great to work with. Her ability to question everything and follow process is music to my ears every day.”
- “Her willingness to assist on-boarding and servicing accounts is why I love working with her. Not only is she helpful, she’s always honest in a politely blunt, yet still smiling manner!”
This SUPO has ramped up quickly, steps up in her team members’ absence, and works diligently on any task or project that she touches. Congratulations to…Michelle Lee!
