In a recent article from MPI’s “The Meeting Professional,” Dena Lowery, President, weighs in on what attendees want in 2023—and what they don’t.

"Events have to be worth it to attend in person with can’t-get-anywhere-else content and connections," she says. "Attendees are looking to be re-energized and get an experience unparalleled to tuning in online. Bigger won’t always be better. Retention and building with the existing attendees who are willing to come back post-COVID—and making sure these people leave the event feeling energized, served, and clear on the direction they have with the brand—is essential."
