EMC World 2015

EMC is one of the most dominant global tech companies, with an important message to share about the future: We are the Information Generation. The facts and figures about how people and companies have to adapt to the changing world can be overwhelming, so EMC asked Opus to help. Together, we launched the Information Generation experience at EMC World 2015.

We started by introducing attendees to the name “Information Generation” and immediately made it personal for them, with 3D projection of their faces onto a 10-meter high mask. Each attendee becamethe face of the Information Generation. This amazing photo-op was one of the most tweeted attractions at the show.

Next attendees entered a 360-degree projection dome, where they were immersed in the story of the Information Generation. This experience explores how data is changing nearly every aspect of our lives, flying us into the future for a newscast from the year 2023, and imagining the life to come through a child’s eyes. Just outside the dome, guests could play and learn about home automation, the changing workplace, the latest data-based medical advances, data-enabled fitness clothing, and even mind-control headsets.
